DJI Dock 2 – A Comprehensive Autonomous “Drone in a Box” Solution
Lightweight, Easy-to-Deploy Design
Dock 2 weighs 34 kg and measures 570 mm × 583 mm × 465 mm, making it 75% smaller and 68% lighter than its predecessor. Two people can easily carry it, enabling convenient installation and cost savings.
Efficient Site Assessment for Rapid Deployment
Dock 2 uses visual sensors to evaluate the deployment site before drone operations, ensuring strong GNSS signal coverage along flight paths and at destinations. Site selection time is reduced to just 12 minutes, down from the previous five hours. Once ready, Dock 2 quickly performs propeller checks and collects precise RTH data using dual RTK antennas, allowing the drone to take off within one minute.
Reliable in Harsh Weather Conditions
Dock 2 is rated IP55 for dust and water resistance, maintaining stable operation in harsh climates and environments. An integrated environmental monitoring system measures rainfall, wind speed, and temperature in real time. Combined with online weather forecasts via DJI FlightHub 2, it enables timely alerts or mission suspension to reduce risks.
Improved Landing Stability
Next-generation image recognition technology enables drones to accurately identify positioning markers on the landing pad. The pad’s new slide-ramp centering design further enhances landing precision.
Remote Operation and Cost Efficiency
Dock 2 can be programmed for autonomous missions, while operators can manually adjust flight paths and gimbal angles at any time. Built-in fisheye cameras provide real-time internal and external weather visuals, allowing remote monitoring. Drone batteries are wirelessly charged from 20% to 90% in just 32 minutes. In case of a power outage, Dock 2 can operate independently for over five hours—enough time for the drone to return and land safely.
Six-Month Maintenance and Abnormal Condition Notifications
Dock 2 requires maintenance approximately every six months, reducing labor costs. If any issue arises or a mission fails, DJI FlightHub 2 immediately sends email notifications, enabling operators to accurately track and troubleshoot problems.
DJI Matrice 3D / 3TD – Versatile Industrial Drones
High-Precision Aerial Missions with DJI Matrice 3D/3TD
The DJI Matrice 3D/3TD drones are designed to fully leverage the capabilities of DJI Dock 2, meeting high operational standards for automated missions. Both models feature integrated RTK antennas, multi-directional obstacle sensors, and autonomous obstacle avoidance, increasing mission success rates. They offer a maximum flight time of 50 minutes, a 6-mile operating radius, IP54 dust and wind resistance, and up to 400 recharge cycles.
Quick Takeoff
With dual RTK antennas, Dock 2 allows the drone to obtain accurate RTH location data without waiting for RTK convergence. The drone also performs a full propeller check and takes off in just 45 seconds, quickly entering operational status.
Quick Charging
The drone’s battery is charged from 20% to 90% in only 32 minutes, providing efficient power for continuous missions.
Dual-Camera Monitoring
Dock 2 is equipped with internal and external fisheye cameras that provide real-time visuals. Operators can remotely monitor weather conditions, the environment, and takeoff/landing situations.
DJI Cellular Dongle 2 – 4G Connectivity (Sold Separately)
With the DJI Cellular Dongle 2, the drone can connect to 4G networks. In complex operational environments, the 4G link works in tandem with the native O3 transmission system to ensure stable communication and enhance flight safety.
Matrice 3D
Optimized for automated mapping and surveying, it features a telephoto camera (1/2” CMOS, 162 mm equivalent, 12MP) and a wide-angle camera (4/3” CMOS, 24 mm equivalent, 20MP) with a mechanical shutter, meeting high-precision 1:500 mapping standards.
Matrice 3TD
Designed for security and inspection operations, it includes a similar telephoto camera but a different wide-angle camera (1/1.32” CMOS, 24 mm equivalent, 48MP), along with an additional infrared camera (40 mm equivalent, 640×512 standard resolution, 1280×1024 UHR, 28× digital zoom) capable of capturing both visible and thermal imagery.
Open Ecosystem with Expandable Capabilities
Both drones support DJI and third-party payloads such as loudspeakers, spotlights, or parachutes via E-Port and E-Port Lite, expanding their application across various industries.
