2nd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting
The DJI RS 4 features advanced second-generation Native Vertical shooting, allowing fast and effortless transitions. No extra accessories are required—simply detach the horizontal plate, rotate it vertically, lock it in place, and the RS 4 is ready for stunning vertical shots.
2nd-Gen Automated Axis Locks
With second-generation automated axis locks, the gimbal automatically unlocks when powered on and locks when powered off, streamlining operation and boosting efficiency. The upgraded lock design also reduces gaps, minimizing gimbal shake.
Smoother Balancing
All three axes are lined with Teflon™ to reduce friction, ensuring smoother and more precise balancing. The tilt-axis fine-tuning knob allows millimeter-level adjustments, while the redesigned quick-release plate remembers positioning for quick reinstallation without rebalancing.
Auto-Locking OLED Touchscreen
The built-in OLED touchscreen now supports auto-lock. Once locked, it displays the current gimbal mode and joystick status at low brightness, preventing accidental touches while saving battery.
Powerful Payload Capacity
Despite its lightweight build, the RS 4 supports payloads of up to 3 kg (6.6 lbs), making it compatible with most mirrorless cameras and popular lenses. The tilt axis has been extended by 8.5 mm, creating more space for setups with accessories like ND filters.
4th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
The newly optimized RS stabilization algorithm delivers the perfect balance between strong stabilization and natural camera movement. It significantly improves vertical shooting stability, making it easier to capture dynamic shots such as running or low-angle perspectives.
Professional-Level Features
The RS 4 supports Bluetooth shutter control and lens zoom adjustment, allowing seamless operation without touching the camera. Paired with the new DJI Focus Pro Motor, it enables smooth focus pulling or zooming directly from the gimbal.
Customizable and Flexible
The trigger button can be customized to FPV mode, making all three axes follow the grip’s movement for immersive POV-style shots. Users can also switch between gimbal modes (FPV, PF, PTF) instantly with the new mode switch, adding versatility to any shooting scenario.
