The Zenmuse V1 supports multiple broadcasting modes to adapt to real-world scenarios with maximum flexibility:
Real-Time Broadcasting: When paired with the Matrice 400, the V1 enables live audio broadcasting via the DJI Pilot 2 app, allowing users to deliver real-time voice messages instantly during missions.
Text-to-Speech: Users can input text and convert it into spoken audio output through the speaker — supporting multiple languages depending on the version.
Audio File Playback: Supports MP3, AAC, and WAV formats, allowing pre-recorded audio files to be uploaded and played during operations.
Record & Broadcast: Enables direct audio recording from the drone and instant playback or live rebroadcast during flight.
Powerful Sound and Extended Range
The Zenmuse V1 produces a maximum sound level of approximately 127 dB at 1 meter (with the Matrice 350/300 RTK) and up to 129 dB when used with the Matrice 400.
Its effective broadcast range reaches up to 500 meters (Matrice 300/350 RTK) and extends to 700 meters when paired with the Matrice 400.
The effective frequency range of 800 Hz to 8 kHz ensures clear and intelligible human voice transmission, even over long distances.
Gimbal System and Directional Control
The Zenmuse V1 utilizes a single-axis (tilt) gimbal to direct sound precisely toward the target area.
It features a mechanical tilt range of –125° to +25°, with control limits varying based on the gimbal mounting configuration.
When installed on different gimbal ports — such as downward, upward, or dual-downward mounts — control limits automatically adjust to ensure safe operation.
The speaker can also synchronize its tilt direction with other payloads (such as cameras or sensors), allowing precise audio targeting toward a specific subject or area.
Lightweight and Flexible Mounting Options
Weighing only 690 ± 10 g, the Zenmuse V1 minimizes payload burden while maintaining powerful audio output.
Its compact dimensions — 134 × 119 × 140 mm (L × W × H) — make it suitable for various mission setups.
It can be mounted on any gimbal port (downward, upward, or dual-downward), offering flexibility for diverse operational requirements.

It features multiple built-in protection mechanisms, including overheat, overcurrent, and power safety systems, ensuring reliability in harsh environments.
Outdoor Operation – Dust & Water Resistance
The Zenmuse V1 meets the IP54 protection standard (IEC 60529), offering resistance against dust and splashing water — ideal for outdoor operations in challenging weather.
It operates within a temperature range of –20 °C to +50 °C and can be safely stored between –20 °C and +60 °C.
Quick and Customizable Control
Users can assign key functions — such as recording, playback, or on/off control — to shortcut buttons on the remote controller for fast, intuitive operation.
